Preview: FC Odiaka vs FC Poto — Legacy Pitch Awaits a Statement Performance

Legacy Pitch has already seen some memorable football this tournament. On the day FC Odiaka face FC Poto, it is set to see some more.
This is one of the ties that caught the eye when the draw was made — two community sides with proud patrons, both desperate to make progress in the competition and both fully aware that an early exit would sting hard. The home-and-away format means the second leg result carries enormous weight, but the first leg often sets the psychological tone for everything that follows.
FC Poto will be looking to lay down a marker at Legacy Pitch. Their patron knows the importance of winning away from home in a two-legged tie, and the tactical instructions will reflect that. FC Odiaka, for their part, have the home advantage and a community behind them that is loud, passionate, and very much invested in what happens on that pitch.
Watch out for Ishola Junior Olaitan, who has been in sharp form for FC Odiaka. If he is given space in behind, he can punish any defence in this competition. FC Poto will need to be well-organised to contain him.
Kick-off cannot come soon enough.
