Match Report: FC Odiaka Overpower Poto 3-0 in Dominant Legacy Pitch Display

There was no debate at Legacy Pitch on this occasion. FC Odiaka were simply the better team, and the 3-0 scoreline — emphatic, deserved, and achieved with real quality — reflects exactly that.
Ishola Junior Olaitan was the story of the match. The FC Odiaka forward has been threatening to produce a defining performance throughout this tournament, and against FC Poto he finally delivered. Two goals — both taken with the calm of a player who has no doubt about what he is doing in front of goal — and a running display that had the Poto defence chasing shadows for most of the 90 minutes.
Lekan James added the third to complete a performance that was as complete as anything we have seen at this venue. Odiaka moved the ball well, pressed with energy, and created chances with a consistency that suggests this team has been working hard on its collective game throughout the competition.
FC Poto, to their credit, tried. But sometimes the other team is just better on the day, and there was no shame in the manner of their defeat — they were beaten by a very good side in outstanding form.
FC Odiaka progress 3-1 on aggregate and advance to the Round of 16 with the air of a team that believes it can go all the way.
